When asked whether he was concerned about the extra competition in attack following the arrival of Russian international Andrey Arshavin from Zenit St. Petersburg, the Dane hinted that he is not.
"I've never seen Arshavin. I did not watch Euro 2008. I've no idea what sort of player he is," he said.
Manager Arsene Wenger seems to be less convinced that Bendtner should be the first name on his team sheet, however.
"Bendtner has had plenty of opportunities this year; if you look at the number of games he has started you will be surprised," Wenger said.
