插播一哈最新预备队报告：
Just back from Underhill and am slowly dethawing...it is crazy cold out there and that's coming from a Canuck!
As you've heard, Theo and Bendtner were the scorers in a 2-0 win. It was a decent performance but not much more than that. The first half was a let down, especially the first 20 minutes or so. We lined up like this:

Midway through the half, Walcott switched to the right flank where he was more effective. In the second half, Ryan Garry made way for Ryan Smith with Seb Larsson slotting into the LB role. We later brought Muamba on for Song and Stokes on for Bendtner, with Stokes playing RM while Theo was pushed up front.
Charlton started off better than expected and a couple of their players looked lively on their left side. They never really created any clear cut chances though.
The standouts for me were Walcott & Van Persie. Walcott's clearly got some pace and showed glimpses of what he is capable of. He took his goal well, I can't recall who put him through on goal but he finished strongly. He sort of ran over to the crowd and gave us a bit of a 'here i am' if you will...
Walcott may have been put through by Van Persie who was pretty unselfish for the most part. He had a couple of efforts in the first half but both missed the net. A couple of times he could have released the ball but held on. He obviously wants to hit the back of the net. He impressed me with a couple of nice crosses though, he just hung the ball in the air for Bendtner a couple of times.
The Diaby/Song partnership worked alright and they played well off each other on a couple of occasions. Song actually got through on goal and forced a good save from the keeper. He still gave the ball away on a couple of occasions but overall it was one of his better performances from what I have seen.
Speaking of going in on goal, Djourou actually made a sweet run through a few players and we nearly scored. Ryan Smith wasn't that involved but you know the boy has got skill and pace. He had one effort saved well by the keeper. Bendtner also took his goal well, could have maybe had another one or two but did well to score.
As for big Sol, he looked fine. Didn't look as slow as I've seen him at times this year. He was never really pushed though so it's tough to say.
Ryan Garry is a chap I haven't seen in ages and he looked alright down the left side. Good to see him playing again, hope he stays fit and progresses like he should.
I personally think that RVP could benefit from another sub appearance at the weekend and maybe another 90 minutes for the reserves. Sol...it's tough to say. I'll leave that one to Arsène. As for Theo, he looks promising...but I honestly don't think he should be thrown into the EPL just yet. Why rush?
