We are very disappointed about Sunday's defeat because it was a dull, scrappy game with no spark. Everton were going for the long ball and overall we controlled them very well but they had a little more power in the final third.
It is difficult to take losing a game like that in the final moments but we have to cope with it. We are a little bit jaded at the moment.
We had plenty of opportunities at Goodison Park but we did not use them because our final ball was too late or not accurate enough. We battled hard and the spirit was good but we did not create enough.
We are accused of lacking a cutting edge and that is frustrating because I feel there is potential in the team. We are making the minimum of our opportunities at the moment.
This month has been very hard for us. We lost at Blackburn in the last minutes, we lost at Goodison Park in the last minutes and went out against PSV in the last minutes. That means we miss some maturity in dealing with situations like that.
Do we need to buy a 'goalscorer'? No, because we have plenty of goalscorers unavailable - Thierry Henry, Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor. At the moment we are a bit short in that department but they will all be back next season.
Now we have to pick ourselves up after Sunday's defeat. We are not yet guaranteed a top-four finish in the Premiership and we have to make sure we get that because we have a difficult programme ahead.
