《每日镜报》透露，阿森纳成功用一份为期5年周薪为5万英镑的合同打动了查马克，这位波尔多前锋将在本周五与枪手签订预备合同。
阿森纳和利物浦一直都在追逐查马克，早在去年的夏季转会，温格就对查马克展示出浓厚的兴趣，不过由于转会费未能与波尔多达成协议，温格计划等到今夏才免费签他。
