Dennis Bergkamp puts Arsenal's unbeaten Premiership season down to player power.
The Dutch striker, who set up the winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 over Leicester to complete the campaign, feels friendship has been the key.
In fact Bergkamp likes the atmosphere so much he has opted to shelve plans for retirement and stay on for his 10th season at Highbury. Speaking after the Leicester game, the 34-year-old clearly valued the dressing room spirit.
"The bond between all the players has been fantastic this season," he said.
"It was just a matter of getting the players all working together. There is a lot of friendship in this team.
"There have been only one or two problems during the season but we have sorted them out among ourselves. That has been our strength." |
