Arsene Wenger has expressed his commitment to Arsenal by saying there won't be "any problems" in signing a new contract.
Wenger's contract expires next June, and with talk that club captain Patrick Vieira is on his way to Real Madrid, the manager reassured Gunners fans: "I have always been clear that I'm committed to
the club and I don't think that will change."
Asked about Vieira, he said: "There's no basic problem between Patrick and me. We have a good understanding and a good relationship. But he doesn't have to link his future with my future.
"You can ask Porto, I have never made an inquiry about Maniche. He is not the same type of player as Patrick. He's more of an all-round player, more offensive. He can play in all positions but he is not a player I have looked at to replace Patrick as I don't think I will have to replace Patrick.
