Wycombe Wanderers manager Tony Adams has returned to his old club Arsenal to sign youngster Adam Birchall.
The Wales Under-21 striker joined The Chairboys on a month's loan in time for Wycombe's League Two clash with Rochdale at The Causeway Stadium.
The 19-year-old arrived at the club after collecting his fourth cap with the Wales Under-21s when he played 45 minutes against Latvia Under-21s in midweek.
Birchall's loan period will cover the second round of the Carling Cup, should The Chairboys defeat League One side Bristol City at home next Tuesday.
The striker is known to a be dynamic front man with an eye for goal and should boost Adams's ranks for the next four weeks.
