SPANISH starlet Sergio Ramos has snubbed Arsenal.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a long-time admirer of Sevilla’s Under-21 defender.
Jose Reyes and Cesc Fabregas tried to convince fellow Spaniard Ramos, 18, to move to Highbury but failed with their efforts.
Ramos said: “In spite of interest from teams like Arsenal, I knew very clearly I wanted to renew my contract here.
“I am young and I want to give back to Sevilla all the confidence they have invested in me.
“I met with Reyes and my friend Cesc. They both said to me I should go to London.
“But my only dream is to grow with Sevilla.”
