Wenger hails Gunners' belief
Arsene Wenger believes Arsenal will go to Old Trafford on Sunday fuelled with confidence from their 49-game unbeaten league run.
However, he insisted that even a victory, which would extend their lead over Sir Alex Ferguson's side to 14 points, would not be enough to end Manchester United's title hopes with 10 games gone.
Wenger declared: "We have shown many times that we can cope with the pressure at Old Trafford and therefore it's a game we want to play. I feel we have a strong spirit, a great belief based on our recent history and quality in our team play. Those are the ingredients we will base our game on and we know we have the potential to score. The belief we have accumulated in the past 49 games must come out in this match."
Arsenal could be boosted by the return from injury of Patrick Vieira, who was initially given just a 20% chance of starting the game after twisting his ankle against Aston Villa. However, the Frenchman's recovery has been quicker than first anticipated, with a final decision set to be taken on Sunday morning.
Wenger revealed: "Vieira is 50-50. He took part in training on Friday, when we protected his ankle a bit, but he's better than expected.
"At the moment, it is looking good. If he doesn't have a bad a reaction to that, he will go a step further on Saturday and then I will make a decision on Sunday.
"He has the impressive physical presence that you want as you know the commitment will be top-level. He can be technically good and physically strong."
Wenger赞扬枪手们的信念
Wenger相信49场联赛不败的纪录会让枪手们充满自信的去Old Trafford球场迎接manu的比赛。但是，他认为即使这场比赛赢了，在积分榜上领先manu 14分，也不代表manu失去夺冠的希望，毕竟联赛只去了10场。
Wenger说：“我们多次证明了我们能够承受住来自Old Trafford的压力，我们将全力以赴。我们最近的表现和我们球员的素质给予我们很强的意志和信念。我们靠此去比赛，我们知道我们有能力赢得比赛。我们在过去49场比赛中所累积起来的信念必须在这场比赛中体现出来。”
Arsenal在Vieira伤愈复出后会变得更强大，这位枪手队长在对阵Villa的时候不幸扭伤脚裸，起初只有20%的机会首发。不过，法国人恢复得比预期的要快，最后决定在星期天可以出场。
wenger透露说，Vieira大概有一半机会可以上场。他参加了星期五的训练，我们想保护好他的脚裸，但他的状况比预想的要好。
“他现在看上去不错，如果他没有不良反应，在星期六情况进一步好转的话，我会在星期天作出决定派不派他上场。他拥有令人佩服的体力保证他处于良好的状态。他的技术和体力都很好。”
