Robin ready for Christmas
Arsenal winger Robin van Persie will break new ground this Christmas as he experiences, for the first time, the delights of a packed festive programme.
The Dutch international is more accustomed to having a break at this time of year but is confident the new regime - which includes four matches in 10 days - will not cause him any problems.
"It's going to be strange as in Holland you get two and a half weeks off," he revealed.
"It's new for me but I think it adds something to play on Boxing Day.
"I know it's a tradition over here so I'm looking forward to it. My wife will be spending Christmas Day with her family, but I will be at work."
