Henry - Chelsea still hold whip hand
By Richard Clarke
Thierry Henry believes the Premiership title is now only Chelsea’s to lose.
The French striker set up both Arsenal goals in their 4-2 defeat to Manchester United at Highbury last night. The loss leaves Arsène Wenger’s side 10 points behind the Stamford Bridge outfit and that could be extended to 13 if they win their game in hand at Blackburn on Wednesday night.
So, while Henry paid credit to Sir Alex Ferguson’s side, he added that it is Chelsea who hold the whip hand.
“Everyone wanted to win today because it was Arsenal v Manchester United,” said Henry. “But it is still in the hands of Chelsea. If they win their games, you can win all the games you want — it doesn’t matter.
“Manchester United showed great character today. It was not an easy game for them and they were twice behind but they won it.
“However it is up to Chelsea. They are still ahead and they are the team we all need to catch.”
