Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Pascal Cygan has hit out at Wenger for allowing Vieira to join Juventus.
The French tactician had stated he was looking to strengthen his Gunners side this summer in order to challenge Chelsea next term.
However, Cygan is confused as to why the club can allow Vieira to leave when they want to bring in world class talent.
The former Lille defender knows what quality is available in the market and is left wandering who will fill Vieira's boots at Highbury.
"I've heard people say that boss Arsene Wenger wants to sign two international class players," said Cygan.
"But if it means losing Pat for him, what the hell is the point?
"Patrick will leave behind a huge gap and I don't see who will be able to replace him.
"The training ground will be a sad place without him."
