莫斯科人什么都要阿
Spartak Moscow have entered the race to land Philippe Christanval, who is currently on trial at Arsenal.
The 26-year-old French defender is looking to earn a permanent stay in North London, after having his contract cancelled at Marseille.
Christanval had two years remaining on his contract at Stade Velodrome but two injury plagued seasons since joining from Barcelona convinced Marseille to release him.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is a known admirer of the player, and will continue to monitor his progress in the club's pre-season campaign.
However, it has now been reported in France that Spartak have emerged as rival suitors to land Christanval's signature.
The Russian giants are not short of financial clout, and could step in should the player fail to land a deal at Highbury.
Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach are also thought to be monitoring the situation.
