Henry shrugs off talk of Cup history
Thierry Henry refuses to get sidetracked by the prospect of Arsenal making FA Cup history this season.
The French striker scored once and set up further goals for Edu and Robert Pires as Arsenal fought back to beat Leeds 4-1 in their third-round tie at Elland Road on Sunday.
The win kept Ars鑞e Wenger's men on course to become the first team to reach four successive FA Cup finals and only the third team to win the trophy three times in a row.
Talk of FA Cup records will reach fever pitch if Arsenal continue their serene progress towards another showpiece at the Millennium Stadium, but Henry is not getting carried away.
"Let us enjoy what we did at Leeds and then we'll see," he told Arsenal.com. "We have a lot of other stuff to focus on like the Premiership and the Champions League.
"When the FA Cup comes around again we will focus on it but it's not as if we have qualified for the semi-final yet or the final. We will just try to keep the momentum going.
"Last season, a lot of people were talking about us winning this and winning that and we only won the FA Cup," he added. "Let's keep our feet on the ground, just enjoy it and see what we can do.
"When you play for teams like Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea you don't want to lose. If you try not to lose then you have good records. If you keep winning, records are going to come but we are not looking for them
