By Staff Writer Chelsea have struck a deal to sign 15 year old Espanyol midfielder Sergio Tejera at the end of the season. The 15 year old left sided midfielder has attracted the attention of many of Europe's biggest clubs with his performances in the Espanyol youth side and Chelsea look to have won the race for his signature. According to reports in Spain's Marca Sports Paper, Chelsea will get Tejera for a modest fee of 250,000 Euros. The player is quoted as saying: "It's a great opportunity for me to develop as a player." Tejera also believes it is a fantastic chance to emulate the achievements of fellow Catalan raised star, Cesc Fabregas who signed for Arsenal, also at the age of 15: "He's an example to follow and it would be great if I could achieve what he has achieved," |
