Connolly I have seen play on countless occasions and he's one player who i really do admire. Tall, strong, great ability in the air and very comfortable on the ball. I agree with the comparisons to Bobby Moore to some degree, he's not afraid to stride into the opposition's half with the ball at his feet and can produce a killer pass. But to say he will reach Bobby Moore's dizzy heights is very premature! He still has alot to learn with his positional sense but obviously that's something all defenders pick up with experience. His willingness to plough forward does leave him exposed at times however. It remains to be seen whether Wenger will give him a chance but no doubt we'll see him starting next year in the Carling Cup alongside Djourou who he formed a solid partnership with for the reserves.
