Rangers are hoping to sign the Danish youngster on a season-long loan deal, yet assistant manager Yves Colleu is concerned that the Gunners may choose to keep the 18-year-old.
"I don't know what will happen with Bendtner," Colleu told The Daily Record. "It is too early to say. We try because we know this player, but Arsenal for the moment want to keep him.”
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger rates Bendtner as a sure star for the future, and could well give him more opportunities to shine for the first team in the coming season.
