'TREZ BON', says the Sun, who believe David Trezeguet could be on his way to the Emirates Stadium.
Apparently, Trezeguet is refusing to sign a new contract at Juventus and would cost as little as £5m. At 29, he is older than Wenger's usual transfer targets, but desperate times call for desperate measures.
According to the Star, Trezeguet won't be the only forward heading to North London. Ryan Babel, the 20-year-old Ajax striker, who has already been capped 14 times by Holland, has also caught Wenger's eye.
The Star tells us that Babel will cost £6m and a move would signal the end of Freddie Ljungberg's career at Arsenal, with Porstmouth and West Ham monitoring the situation.
