Blackburn Rovers defender Craig Short has accused Arsenal ace Thierry Henry of conning referee Alan Wiley during his side's 2-0 at the weekend.
Rovers boss Graeme Souness was furious at the award of the free kick feeling it had turned the game and Short echoed his manager's sentiments insisting the tackle was never a foul.
"I'm not going to call Henry a cheat because he's not a cheat, but it's just disappointing that the referee could be in the position he was in and still give a foul," said Short.
"There was physical contact between us but it was just a coming together of bodies.
"I don't think it was shoulder to shoulder or chest to chest.
