Barcelona striker Javier Saviola admits he would love Thierry Henry to partner him up front for the Catalan giants next season.
Henry has repeatedly spelt out his desire to remain at Highbury while The Gunners have made it abundantly clear that they have no intention of selling the French international.
However, that does not seem to have deterred the Catalan giants who, it was revealed, made another attempt last week to try and prise Henry away from North London.
Saviola has given his backing to the attempts to land the former Juventus star and insists he would relish the chance to play alongside Henry.
"I would love to play with Henry, he is a fantastic player," stated Saviola.
"I watch him on television, I learn from his moves, his finishes, he is one of the best players in the world.
"We could play together, we are different kinds of players, he is probably faster and stronger but I would probably play in a deeper role as a playmaker and he would be the out-and-out striker and I think it would work well.
"Anyone would like to play with someone like him as it is easy to play with a footballer with his ability and I think that he has the quality to do well here."
Saviola also revealed his confidence that Barca would now qualify for the UEFA Champions League this term following their poor start to the season.
Frank Rijkaard's team are now on a eight game winning streak in La Liga, and have moved into third spot in La Primera nine points behind table-toppers, and arch rivals, Real Madrid.
"We had a bad spell but now the pieces are starting to fall in place, we are winning games and playing good football," continued the diminutive frontman.
"Our aim is to qualify for the Champions League and we are confident that if we keep playing like this that we can win the Uefa Cup this season."

Arsenal defender Ashley Cole believes he is playing in the best Gunners side in history.
The England full back feels Arsene Wenger's current crop of stars have set a new standard at Highbury following their incredibly consistent performances this campaign.
The North Londoners have set a club record of 30 Premiership games unbeaten, 28 from the start of this campaign, and Cole, like vice-chairman David Dein believes the current side will go down in history as the best ever.
"I'm probably biased because I'm playing in the side - but this is the best Arsenal team ever," said the 23-year-old.
"We have great players like Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira who are playing with a lot of confidence now."

Arsenal vice-president David Dein has confirmed that Barcelona have made another sensational bid to sign Thierry Henry.
Dein confirmed Barca president Joan Laporta had returned with another huge offer for the talisman after testing their resolve earlier in the campaign.
The Gunners chief though says a flat-out 'no' was again the response, hoping the Catalans finally get the message.
Dein said: "Barca have finally understood that Thierry is not for sale.
"They know it's an absolute certainty that even if they come back with another offer, Henry will not go there. We will not sell him."
Dein also confirmed that the Camp Nou side had offered them Dutch striker Patrick Kluivert but said the former Milan front man did not fit into boss Arsene Wenger's plans.
"Right now Kluivert does not interest us," added Dein. "Patrick was offered to us but at the moment he does not enter the plans of manager Arsene Wenger."
The Highbury official also praised Spanish sensation Jose Antonio Reyes for the way he has settled into the Premiership leaders' side with his infectious nature.
"As for Jose Antonio Reyes, he has integrated well and because of his character and the way he is, he's turned himself into the mascot of our team," he concluded.

Blackburn Rovers defender Craig Short has accused Arsenal ace Thierry Henry of conning referee Alan Wiley during his side's 2-0 at the weekend.
Henry upset Short after going down from a challenge from the big defender from which he then scored goal of the contest.
Rovers boss Graeme Souness was furious at the award of the free kick feeling it had turned the game and Short echoed his manager's sentiments insisting the tackle was never a foul.
"I'm not going to call Henry a cheat because he's not a cheat, but it's just disappointing that the referee could be in the position he was in and still give a foul," said Short.
"There was physical contact between us but it was just a coming together of bodies.
"I don't think it was shoulder to shoulder or chest to chest.
"When he got played in I thought he was going to push it ahead of me and go for goal but I think he tried to roll me instead and go around the back, which he still could have done because he's 6ft 3in and a strong lad.
"That's what I said to him on the pitch. I said 'you don't have to go down' and he replied 'I don't cheat, I don't cheat.'
"I told him 'just stay on your feet then' and said to the ref 'you've just been conned there'.
"At the end of the day, if referees are going to fall for that then players are going to try it.
"I've played with players who've tried things and got away with it in the past but I've been playing for so long and I hate to see it.
"Henry said I pushed him and if he felt a nudge then he's going to go down.
"Some players would feel a nudge and just carry on with it."
