Arsenal are lining up an unnamed player that will apparently cost them in excess of £25 million, if reports in Spain are to be believed.Who that player is we do not know at this stage, what we do know know is that he is experienced and NOT a youngster, he will add steel to the middle of the team.
A reporter in Spain has apparently said that he has a source at Arsenal that has told him this, and that it is certain to happen.
The idea of Arsenal spending £25 Million just does not ring true to me, but if the reporter who reported the story on the radio, “according to one of our writers” is to be believed, then it will mark a change of direction for the Arsenal heirachy.
Maybe Wenger has finally woken up and realized that Arsenal are in danger of falling behind unless they start to splash the cash.
We are not prepared to speculate just yet but we hope that a name will leak out today.
