Manchester City are in talks over a possible £25m move for Emmanuel Adebayor, Sky Sports News has reported. The Togo international has previously attracted interest from Chelsea and Milan, with the Arsenal manager, Arsène Wenger, believed to be ready to let the 25-year-old leave. City are due to commence their pre-season tour of South Africa this week and are keen to have any deal in place before then. Neither club has commented on the matter, although they are understood to be in discussions.
