inzaghi operation completely successful

ac milan announce that filippo inzaghi underwent surgery today at the villa toniolo clinic in bologna to remove a small moving body on his left ankle.
the operation carried out by professor sandro giannini was completely successful.

milan - milan chief executive adriano galliani has responded to some comments reported in today's press about filippo inzaghi's operation on his left ankle. he made clear: 'the decision to have our player operated today has been agreed after yesterday's meeting between inzaghi himself, club medical officer jean pierre meerseman and club doctor massimiliano sala. there has never been any lack of understanding or difference in purposes between the club, the player and the milan lab staff.'

milanello - paolo maldini then spoke about roma's campaign this season. he said: 'fabio capello's side are very strong and have played a great season so far. this has allowed them to be still running for the title, although they had a record milan to face. we know that roma are dangerous and in great form at the moment. but we play at home and we have always done well and won with the big teams so far.'
