No place for Anelka in French squad
PARIS: France coach Raymond Domenech named his 20-man squad yesterday for the upcoming 2006 World Cup qualifying matches against Israel and the Faroe Islands.

Juventus’ David Trezeguet and Barcelona's Ludovic Giuly were recalled, with Manchester United defender Mickael Silvestre and Manchester City striker Nicolas Anelka both left out.
France face Israel at Stade de France on Sept. 4 and then play the Faroe Islands on Sept. 8.
