Nowotny wants Arsenal

Bayer Leverkusen skipper Jens Nowotny is keen to meet English opposition when the UEFA Champions League draw takes place on December 17.
Leverkusen, who finished top of Group B ahead of favourites Real Madrid, have had a victorious past against English teams.
Three years ago they defeated Manchester United and Liverpool to get to the final in Glasgow, where they were narrowly beaten by Madrid.
Former German international Nowotny believes that the club's triumphant past against English teams stands them in good stead to recreate the victory and allow them to progress further in the competition.
"In almost all our Champions League campaigns we travelled to England at least once and I'd like to continue with that tradition," declared the central defender, who has recently returned to top form after suffering a cruciate ligament injury for the past two years.
Nowotny hoped in particular that they would be drawn against Arsene Wenger's Arsenal.
"Arsenal would indeed be a very attractive opponent against who we have looked quite well in the past. I'd like to see them again," Nowotny concluded.
