Van Persie: Arsenal skipper Vieira rules training pitch

Arsenal midfielder Robin van Persie has revealed how captain Patrick Vieira rules the training ground.
The Dutch youngster told the Sunday Mirror: "I believe that the way Arsenal players treat each other and are told how to respect each other gets the best out of players.
"It definitely works for me. The way players shout and swear elsewhere, I really don't like. In fact, I can't stand it. You have to be supportive, is the Arsenal style. When things get too bad, somebody will stand up and tell you.
"I have seen it happen to Freddie Ljungberg two months ago. He had been a bit selfish for quite a few weeks.
"All of a sudden Patrick Vieira had had enough. He went up to him and said, 'Now you are going to pass the ball or you are finished!'
"Freddie did. What Patrick said to him shook him up. But it was the way it was said and done. There was a lot of respect.
"I think that really is a big help to all the young players at Arsenal and especially for the attacking players in our squad. Because we all lose the ball in our efforts to take people on sometimes."
