Big money Reyes'd for ChildLine!
Jose Antonio Reyes and a number of Arsenal supporters have raised nearly £1,000 for ChildLine, the Club's Charity of the Season.
Nine Christmas cards, personally signed by Jose Antonio, were auctioned on Arsenal.com. The nine highest bidders, pledging a total of £979.50, received a signed card.
Arsenal Football Club and ChildLine would like to thank everyone who made a bid in our auction. All money raised will go to ChildLine, the UK's free, 24-hour helpline for children and young people.
Trained volunteer counsellors offer comfort, advice and protect children and young people. The number for children to call is 0800 1111.
· £38 enables ChildLine to give in-depth counselling to a vulnerable child
· £1598 enables ChildLine to recruit and train a volunteer counsellor
· £3762 will fund a volunteer counsellor for a year at ChildLine.
A ChildLine counsellor will normally help 100 children in a year.
