Arsenal boss: I'd reject ?0M for any of my stars

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists he will never sell striker Thierry Henry.
Chelsea made an official bid for the Frenchman on Wednesday, but Wenger told BBC Five Live's Sportsweek programme: "I would say no to ?0m for one of my stars. When you have the money and not the player anymore it does not help you.
"The target of a club is not a bank full of money, but a good team on the pitch. People can understand when you do not have the money to buy the best, but they can never understand when you sell your best players.
"That is a completely wrong signal to give to anyone, inside or outside the club."

阿森纳主教练温格坚持说球队不会出售前锋亨利。
周三，切尔西正式向阿森纳提出购买法国前锋亨利。但在接受英国广播电五台节目Sportsweek时，温格说：“无论开价多高，我都不会卖出我的队员。即使你有很多钱，但没有优秀的队员，那也是不行的。
“俱乐部所追求的不仅是金钱，更是一支在球场上表现出色的球队。如果你没有钱买进最好的球员，那可以理解。但如果是卖出最好的球员，那是无法理解的。
“这一点，无论对于俱乐部内部还是其他人来说，都是完全错误的做法。”
