John Terry helped Chelsea into the last eight of the Champions League - and then pleaded for a chance to finally beat rivals Arsenal.
The Blues drew 0-0 with VfB Stuttgart at Stamford Bridge to progress thanks to their 1-0 first-leg victory in Germany a fortnight ago.
Arsenal bid to join Chelsea in the quarter-finals on Wednesday when they take on Celta Vigo at Highbury knowing their 3-2 first-leg success means a draw or even 1-0 or 2-1 defeat would be enough to go through.
And centre-back Terry is hoping the Gunners see off the Spaniards as there would then be a chance the London rivals are paired together in Friday's quarter-finals draw.
Chelsea have lost against Arsenal three times this season and not beaten them for 17 games - but Terry vowed: "We have come this far so let's take on anyone.
"Why not Arsenal? We have got to beat them sooner or later so why not in the Champions League.
"We have been performing well in the Champions League. It's a great achievement to get this far and we are all excited about the draw.''
