Arsene Wenger
Now in his seventh season with Arsenal, only Sir Alex Ferguson and Alan Curbishley have served their respective Premiership club for longer. A hugely respected figure within the game, whose meticulous approach and tactical acumen have been instrumental in Arsenal's consistant challenge for honours. Arsène's tenure at Highbury follows similarly successful managerial stints in the French and Japanese domestic leagues. The highly intelligent Frenchman, who has a degree in Economics from Strasbourg University, was also honoured with an Honorary degree (DSc) from the University of Hertfordshire in November 1999.
