ALEX FERGUSON has told Chelsea they have ‘no chance’ of a unique four-timer.

Manchester United’s boss also doubts whether the Premiership leaders can even emulate his side’s treble success of 1999.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho insists he wants to win every competition his team are in this season — Champions League, Premiership, FA Cup and Carling Cup.

But Ferguson, preparing for tonight’s Carling Cup semi-final, first leg at Stamford Bridge, rapped: “There is no chance of a club doing a quadruple.

“A treble is more feasible. But it is still very difficult to think that will be done again.

“When we did the treble, we had only Henning Berg injured.

“You need a hell of a good squad and your main players have to be fit all the time.”

Chelsea assistant boss Steve Clarke did not disagree with Fergie — but warned we have still not seen the best of the Blues.

Clarke admitted: “It will be very difficult to win all four trophies. It’s next to impossible. But the way the season has gone is there for everyone to see.

“We are top of the league, in the semi-finals of the Carling Cup, the last 16 of the Champions League and the fourth round of the FA Cup.”

Chelsea’s opening fixture under Mourinho was their dull 1-0 home league win over United.

Clarke added: “People didn’t believe us when we kept saying it would get better. We said we would get more offensive and score more goals.

“We knew we had Damien Duff and Arjen Robben to bring in.

“There is more to come. We are still a relatively new side, so can only improve by playing together.

“It would be a lift for everybody if we could win the Carling Cup and get an early success by February.”

Ferguson, though, aims to shatter Chelsea’s unbeaten home record.

He added: “Our record in semi-finals is great.”

那个。。。标题难道不应该是U CAN’T FOUR-GET IT嘛？？不过。。。U CAN FORGET IT 。。。呵呵。。。这个更绝。。。。
