I was very pleased with our response over the Easter games. The 4-2 win against Liverpool was a massive result after the disappointments against Manchester United and Chelsea.
我很高兴球队在复活节后的表现。4-2赢利物浦的比赛对我们来说是继同曼联和切尔西队比赛失利后的一场重要结果。
When confidence drops you can lose games quickly. The quicker you bounce back the better it is and Liverpool was a big mental test for us.

I had no doubts but we made the test bigger because we came in at half-time 2-1 down and with heavy legs. But our response was outstanding mentally and physically.

The togetherness in this team is special. I have said that many times, I am a great admirer of this team.

When we went 1-0 down against Liverpool we did not panic. After it went to 1-1 we rushed our game a little bit because we wanted to come back and get another goal.

Thierry Henry scored a hat-trick but he had been a doubtful starter before the game. We gave him a warm-up and had Sylvain Wiltord on standby. After the warm-up Thierry said he was OK. And he played quite well!

After Liverpool, we had to play Newcastle at St James' Park. We drew 0-0 but, if you look at the chances we had and the chances Newcastle had, we had the more clear-cut opportunities to win the game.
在利物浦的比赛后，我们在圣詹姆斯公园球场同纽卡斯尔战成了0-0，但是如果你真正看看我们所拥有的机会，再看看纽卡斯尔所拥有的机会，你会发现拥有更多的能够终结比赛一锤定音的机会。
Newcastle made it a very physical game, firstly because we had played some big games and secondly because the pitch made it difficult to play football.

It was a handicap for us but also a handcap for Newcastle. If you want to make the game, you lose a fraction of a second and that allows the opponents to get back in position. You end up with a direct game which is very predictable.

We needed to be very well-organised not to make a mistake. We responded marvellously well, with great determination and great mental strength. Overall I was very pleased with the performance of the boys.

Patrick Vieira was particularly impressive. He has been outstanding in the last two games. He has taken a lot of responsibility and been an example on the pitch.
维埃拉的表现让人印象尤其深刻。在过去的两场比赛中他表现突出。他表现出了强烈的责任心，是球场上的榜样。
Overall, it was vital to maintain our lead in the Premiership over the weekend. Easter could have meant a change of position for us but now we are still in a commanding position.
总的说来，周末过后我们继续保持着优势在英超联赛中领跑。复活节原本被人意味着有可能是位置的更替，但是现在我们仍然处在一个主动的位置。
Most importantly, we reacted well after our disappointments last week. Off the pitch the reaction was great and over the last few days as well.
更重要的是，在上周的失利后我们所做出的表现非常出色。在过去的几天里场下的反应也很不错。
There is more about this team than just winning games. There is a special bonding in the team, you only get a response like this if you have that.
这个队伍，相对于仅仅赢得比赛来说，还有更多。队伍中已经是一个特殊的团队了，如果是你拥有这么一个队伍，你所需要做的，仅仅是稍作反应，仅此而已。
