Who the f**k cares about one player if he doesn't want Arsenal anymore, Arsenal is Arsenal, we all love Arsenal as a football club, for it's history, it's success, it's failures.
If you support Arsenal only because you love Henry, then that's just too bad. IF he really leaves, all you need to do is to switch your allegiance to another club, simple.
With or without Henry, Arsenal would still progress on through time, be it good or bad, but what is most important is the core spirit of Arsenal would never be gone.
I suggest all the ppl who are dizzing henry right now come and nail your eyes to these words make them useful perhaps for the first time in your life, and learn how to speak in a more literary sense. ok, maybe this guy is trying to say the same thing as you are trying to say, but see, he doesn't say things without using his brain ahead of time.
ok, i am a fan of henry, so what? is there a problem of being a fan of him? He's a gunner and he's done a magnificent job for Arsenal, that's why people say he's one of the greatest players in the club's history, so....is there a problem admiring a hero of the club?? why should i be the type of person that you want me to be just because you are interpreting that he's going to leave Arsenal? I don't think he will, and in fact he never said he is gonna leave anyways, so why don't all of you just take your piece of "psychic talent" and shove it up your ass?
You think urging one of the most wonderful players in the club's history to leave the club is considered to be what is so called "royalty"?? well, i'll tell you what it's called, it's called "your head is stucked with shit".
If you really love the club, you wish it all the best, you wish the young players develop fast and become top players in the world, and you wish the club keep every single promising players they already have, and make the best use of them. you don't dizz your players and wanting them to leave just because you don't like them or "YOU THINK" they are going to leave!
personally, if henry really leaves Arsenal, then good for him, go somewhere else, persuit your goal that you cannot achieve while you were in Arsenal, but i will stick with Arsenal. But he didn't leave Arsenal, he's still here, playing as usual and wishing for Arsenal's comeback. In this case, i will support here till the end. Defending henry here does not mean we are blindly in love with this guy ok? it means i am not as stupid as all of you out there that never really understood the word "royalty".
Not a single Arsenal fan really wants Henry to leave, we love him so much that some of us fell in despair when he could not perform as a good captain.
It is also evident that Henry had done little to hold the team together and help young players develope since he became our cap. We all know he is not omnipotent, but it is his damn duty to do this as he carrys the responsibility of being a team leader and an old player when the team is in trouble. There is a reason why so many fans are questioning his attitude. There is a reason why some are getting so pissed on his facial expression. Think about it. Watch the way he played the face he gave you would know he only wanna others to play in his own way all the time, and that is a bad thing for us. Our attacking system has become so dull and inefficient. Reyes,Bleb,Fabregas,Adeb,Gilberto,even Freddie had lost his normal way of playing. Why?!! Wenger and Henry himself must figure it out before it's too late.
If things goes on like this, letting him go is not a choice we have to make, but a fact we have to accept. He would not play for a team unqualified for ECL. It's not his fault. The seeds have been planted when Viera left and Henry was made our captain.....

maybe he is acting like what you said, but that's the appearances, we cannot judge him like that, in fact, we cannot judge anyone by their appearances, there might be a whole lot of reasons underneath that which we cannot see. he just had a daughter, and most of us never had any children before, so we don't know how much of pressure and duty he has to do everyday. people say he's not in a good shape right now, i can see that, that might of caused by his daughter crying all night interupting his sleep and he cannot get a good rest? why does "his heart is not here anymore, he's thinking about leaving" have to HAVE to HAVE TO be the ONLY reason of his poor fitness shape?
the reason i am pissed is because i see people wanting him to leave desperately and defend themselves with such words as "because i am a loyal gooner, no one comes above the team"...ok? what are these people trying to show? they love the club more than people who wants henry to stay? it's rediculous, so in their instinct people who admire henry are considered traitors or something?
You say he doesn't make a good captain, or a cheerer for the team, i can stand with that, and i feel the same way, but what can you do about it? take his armband away without any apparent reason? or take it away and tell him that he does not make a good captain? the club can't do that, not just henry, the club can't do that to anyone, because that's such a disgrace and it's going to plant a seed for an internal conflict. 用人不疑, it's originated from China, and so far, it seems like most CHINESE people are having trouble understanding it.
To be honest, i hope the club takes the armband back and give it to someone else, but i can't even find a good reason for that...
Plus, DOESN'T MAKE A GOOD CAPTAIN DOES NOT MEAN HE DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE A GUNNER!!!i think this is what most people are having trouble understanding. you see how many people post a thread criticizing how henry is a bad captain and then start those biggest junk of bullshit i've ever seen in my life saying that "since he's not a good captain, he doesn't love arsenal anymore, therefore he should leave"....what the fuck? honestly, what the fuck? what kind of logic is that? it's like saying "my girlfriend likes to watch hot guys on TV, so i predict she doesn't like me anymore, therefore, she's a whore..."....???? does that make any sense at all? it's too rediculous that even irritates me.

and for those people who are saying henry should leave because the club is playing so badly that henry should go to other clubs and play with higher standards....drop it, please, that's non-sense.

Viera也和劳伦在更衣室掐过，服不服众开始不是最重要的问题。能负起组织责任，有强烈的进取心，作几场表率后别人自然会服你。
当然Toure不是最佳人选，我还是觉得他不善言辞了些。球队这么多年没有培养出一个有能力作队长的true gooner实在是遗憾。现在在承受恶果了。
亨利如果离开了的话，我想下个赛季的队长可能是莱曼，但是当莱曼退役的时候会是谁呢？我想不出来了。。。

see, whenever i denfend henry, "some people" just run out of no where and perform exactly what i said before~
did i mention any particular case? If that, how are you gonna explain for the game against RM? do you alway judge players by one or two or maybe a couple of games if possible? is that how much he worth for you?
