VO: hi, F1 student? how long have you been in canada.
Me: XX years.
VO: where did you get your masters?
me: The masters degree is actually included in this phd degree.
VO: oh ok. where did you get your bachelor?
me: XX University.
VO: So you are getting XX scholarship for your first year?
me: yeah.
VO: Can i see your financial statement?
me: the amount indicated on my i20 is actually the same for 5 years.
VO: (a little shocked) : wow, very nice.
VO: why the US?
me: Why the US? well...blah blah(mainly weather related issue, and then i mentioned they have a very nice program there.)
VO: you know i'm a big fan of student getting paid for the whole degree.
me: I know what you mean *chuckles*.
VO: ok...do you have anything you want to show me?
Me: (A little unexpected, because i didn't prepare for this question:)) um...would you like to see my offer?
VO: sure.
VO: ok, you'll be getting your visa in your mail in a week.
Me: thank you very much!=)
