Patrick Vieira is keeping his fingers crossed that his Arsenal side can steer clear of injuries for the rest of the season.

The captain has high hopes of lifting up to three trophies in May - the Premiership, the FA Cup and the Champions League. But having let a significant lead slip in the League last season, Vieira is wary any disruption to Arsenal's tight-knit squad.

Pennant extends Leeds loan spell

Arsenal midfielder Jermaine Pennant has extended his loan period with Premiership club Leeds United for a further month.

Unbeaten Arsenal go into the final 10 games with a nine-point lead over second-place Chelsea and 12 points ahead of Manchester United in third. It is certainly a healthy advantage. One that has led many observers to suggest it is as good as over. The manager is not one of them.

Arsene Wenger is confident that his team can emerge from the rigours of the next fortnight with their sights still set on a treble of trophies.

In the space of a week, Arsenal have exorcised two of the ghosts from last season's title run-in. Blackburn and Bolton both tripped the Gunners up last Spring; this year Arsenal have made amends.

Thierry Henry insists that Arsenal are not a one-man team. The French striker has earned plaudits for his all-round excellence this season, but Henry believes that Arsenal's teamwork is their greatest strength.

"People have been trying to say we are a one or two man team," he said. "But I think the others are doing their job too. We are just fighting for each other."

It would have been "greedy" to have taken anything more than a point from yesterday's clash with Manchester United, according to Thierry Henry.

The Arsenal striker fired his side ahead five minutes after the break with a wickedly swerving shot from distance.
