Arsenal's Adebayor Having Doubts Over Manchester City Move - Report
Emmanuel Adebayor is reportedly having last-minute doubts about leaving Arsenal to join Manchester City.
The Togo international was reported to have already passed a medical and received a work permit, but according to The Guardian, he is worried about how the move may be perceived in his native country. Indeed, the newspaper suggests that the medical is fact yet to take place.
Adebayor stands to earn around £150,000 per week at City, and he is wary of being seen as greedy, especially since the Gunners are far more popular in Africa. Apparently, he has asked City to grant him a few days to consult his family and representatives.
Arsenal have already accepted City's £25 million bid, so Adebayor's final decision is all that is required for the move to be made official. The Mancunians are still hopeful that he will join them on their tour of South Africa.

世事无奇不有，连一些本来可以正式公布的转会交易，也会突然叫停甚至告吹。曼城收购艾迪巴约便是虽已通过体检和获发工作证，但该名多哥前锋突然担忧被祖家球迷指摘他贪钱，所以要求数天时间考虑清楚。早前波尔图后卫因烂牙未能加盟AC米兰，以及阿森纳宁留西尔维斯达而无法签入新前锋，同样无厘头兼笑爆嘴。
阿德巴约1年前以100万港元（8万镑）周薪跟阿森纳签约4年，若转投曼城可加薪至190万元（15万镑），惟有关交易的进展昨天暂停。《每日邮报》指是阿德巴约要求216万元（17万镑）周薪，曼城却不愿被「勒索」；《卫报》则说阿德巴约离奇患上转会恐惧症，因阿森纳在非洲的知名度和受欢迎程度俱远超曼城，若他纯为高薪转会，势遭同胞批评为金钱奴隶，所以他透过经理人通知曼城，希望把签约日期押后数天，待他与家人好好商量。

至于阿森纳求购波尔多前锋查马克以取代阿德巴约，斟介也陷入胶着。只是关键障碍并非8900万元（700万镑）的转会费价格，而是波尔多提出要以现金加后卫西尔维斯达来交换查马克。本来这是双赢方案，因年近32的西尔维斯达去季错漏多多，可是阿森纳领队云格对于该名法国同乡竟「死揽唔放」，宁愿冒险让交易告吹，令人莫名其妙。
